In Saturday's league contest, the Dunham Tigers (Baton Rouge, LA) softball team overwhelmed the host Port Allen Pelicans (Port Allen, LA), by a margin of 17-6.
With the triumph, Dunham moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Tigers host Baker (Baker, LA) to play the Buffaloes in a non-league contest on Monday, February 21. The Buffaloes come into the contest with a record of 0-0.
