The Doherty Memorial Highlanders basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Fitchburg Red Raiders to 45 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Monday.

The Highlanders now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Algonquin Regional for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 21. Doherty Memorial will battle a Titans team coming off a 61-41 non-league loss to South (Worcester, MA). The Titans record now stands at 5-14.

The Red Raiders (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against South (Worcester, MA). The Colonels come into the non-league contest with a 11-9 record. In their last contest, South prevailed over Algonquin Regional (Northborough, MA), 61-41, in a non-league contest.
