Delaware High School Basketball - Smyrna tipped by Dover

The Dover Senators basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Smyrna Eagles to 53 in the Senators league triumph on Monday.

The Senators now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salesianum for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 20.

The Eagles (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against St. Georges Tech (Middletown, DE). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, St. Georges Tech was nudged by William Penn (New Castle, DE), 52-51, in a league contest.
