The Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial Knights basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Waseca Bluejays to 48 in the Knights league victory on Monday.

The Knights now sport a 22-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fairmont for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 20. Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 76-46 league win over Windom (Windom, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 12-11.

The Bluejays (15-9) will now prepare for their contest against Maple River (Mapleton, MN). The Eagles come into the AA Section 2 contest with a 21-24 record. In their last contest, Maple River prevailed over Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (Waterville, MN), 74-35, in a league contest.
