Stewartville Tigers (Stewartville, MN) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pine Island Panthers (Pine Island, MN), 73-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Stewartville upgrades its record to 23-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Goodhue (Goodhue, MN) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, February 23. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 14-14. Goodhue won 66-60 in their recent non-league bout against Lourdes (Rochester, MN)

Next up, the Panthers play the Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars (Zumbrota, MN) in a AA Section 1 bout, on Friday, February 23. Pine Island will attempt to upgrade on its 10-17 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 17-11 record after their 76-45 non-league loss to Cannon Falls (Cannon Falls, MN).
