The Adrian/Ellsworth Dragons basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Mountain Lake/Comfrey to 41 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Monday.

The Dragons now sport a 16-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hills-Beaver Creek for a A Section 3 contest on Saturday, February 24. Adrian/Ellsworth will meet a Patriots team coming off a 63-46 league win over Russell-Tyler-Ruthton (Tyler, MN). The Patriots record now stands at 17-10.

The (9-17) will now prepare for their contest against Springfield (Springfield, MN). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 14-11 record. In their last contest, Springfield was outscored by Windom (Windom, MN), 73-50, in a non-league contest.
