The Caseville Eagles (Caseville, MI) basketball felled the host Akron-Fairgrove Vikings (Fairgrove, MI), 39-29 in Monday's league test.
The Eagles (4-13) will now prepare for their test against Owendale-Gagetown (Owendale, MI). The Bulldogs go into the North Central Thumb - Stripes test with a 7-10 record. In their last test, Owendale-Gagetown was beaten by Ashley (Ashley, MI), 44-42, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now own a 2-17 record. They play next when they travel to Ashley for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 27.
