The Middlesboro Yellowjackets routed the visiting Barbourville Tigers basketball team by a final score of 56-33 in Monday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets face the Tri-Cities Christian Eagles (Blountville, TN) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 23. Middlesboro will attempt to move on its 8-18 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 15-7 record after their 63-34 non-league win over University (Johnson City, TN).

The Tigers (12-14) will now prepare for their contest against Harlan (Harlan, KY). The Green Dragons come into the non-league contest with a 16-12 record. In their last contest, Harlan triumphed over McCreary Central (Stearns, KY), 65-37, in a non-league contest.
