Kentucky High School Basketball - Buckhorn can't hold off Lee County

The Lee County Bobcats basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Buckhorn Wildcats to 48 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Monday.
The Bobcats now sport a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oneida Baptist Institute for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 20. Lee County will battle a Mountaineers team coming off a 62-33 non-league loss to Middlesboro (Middlesboro, KY). The Mountaineers record now stands at 3-12.
The Wildcats (8-20) will now prepare for their contest against Jenkins (Jenkins, KY). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 6-20 record. In their last contest, Jenkins nudged June Buchanan (Pippa Passes, KY), 54-16, in a non-league contest.
