Cherokee County Warriors (Centre, AL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Handley Tigers (Roanoke, AL), 49-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cherokee County upgrades its record to 28-4 on the season. The Warriors travel to Handley (Roanoke, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 19. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 20-7. Handley won 65-53 in their recent non-league bout against Ashville (Ashville, AL)

Next up, the Tigers play the Cherokee County Warriors (Centre, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 19. Handley will attempt to upgrade on its 20-9 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 26-4 record after their 59-31 non-league win over Madison County (Gurley, AL).
