The Dryden Cardinals basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Peck Pirates to 29 in the Cardinals league victory on Monday.

The Cardinals now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mayville for a North Central Thumb - Stars contest on Thursday, February 22. Dryden will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 47-16 league loss to Deckerville (Deckerville, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-14.

The Pirates (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Bad Axe (Bad Axe, MI). The Hatchets come into the non-league contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Bad Axe triumphed over Caro (Caro, MI), 23-21, in a league contest.
