In Monday's league outing, the Lamoille Lancers (Hyde Park, VT) basketball squad edged the host Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT), by a margin of 38-37.

The Lancers (15-4) will now prepare for their outing against Spaulding (Barre, VT). The Crimson Tide go into the Metro outing with a 9-10 record. In their last outing, Spaulding held off Randolph (Randolph, VT), 51-25, in a non-league outing.

The Vikings now own a 16-3 record. They play next when they travel to North Country Union for a Metro outing on Thursday, February 22. Lyndon Institute will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 53-46 non-league loss to Harwood (Moretown, VT). The Falcons record now stands at 17-2.
