Vermont High School Basketball - Mt. St. Joseph Academy overwhelmed by Long Trail

The Long Trail basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the host Mt. St. Joseph Academy Green Wave to 12 in the non-league victory on Monday.
The now sport a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arlington Memorial for a Marble Valley - D contest on Thursday, February 22. Long Trail will battle a Eagles team coming off a 39-22 non-league win over Green Mountain (Chester, VT). The Eagles record now stands at 17-2.
The Green Wave (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Sharon Academy (Sharon, VT). The Phoenix come into the Freelance contest with a 1-17 record. In their last contest, Sharon Academy was routed by Proctor (Proctor, VT), 64-23, in a league contest.
