Mt. Mansfield Cougars (Jericho, VT) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting South Burlington Wolves (South Burlington, VT), 66-22 in a league bout.

With the win, Mt. Mansfield upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The Cougars travel to St. Johnsbury Academy (St. Johnsbury, VT) to clash with the Hilltoppers in a Metro bout on Thursday, February 22. The Hilltoppers go into the bout with a record of 16-3. St. Johnsbury Academy lost 61-52 in their recent league bout against Burlington (Burlington, VT)

Next up, the Wolves clash with the Champlain Valley Union Redhawks (Hinesburg, VT) in a Metro bout, on Thursday, February 22. South Burlington will attempt to upgrade on its 2-16 season record. The Redhawks go into the bout with a 18-1 record after their 55-38 league win over Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT).
