Kentucky High School Basketball - Powell County trounces Wolfe County

The Powell County Pirates (Stanton, KY) basketball crushed the host Wolfe County Wolves (Campton, KY), 51-27 in Monday's non-league test.
The Pirates (14-14) will now prepare for their test against Menifee County (Frenchburg, KY). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 10-17 record. In their last test, Menifee County walloped Martin County (Inez, KY), 62-59, in a non-league test.
The Wolves now own a 11-13 record. They play next when they travel to Perry County Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 20. Wolfe County will encounter a Commodores squad coming off a 73-42 non-league win over Estill County (Irvine, KY). The Commodores record now stands at 17-10.
