In Monday's league outing, the Southern Regional Rams (Manahawkin, NJ) basketball squad edged the host Toms River North Mariners (Toms River, NJ), by a margin of 40-33.
The Rams (19-6) will now prepare for their outing against Eastern (Voorhees, NJ). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 13-14 record. In their last outing, Eastern was tipped by Egg Harbor Township (Egg Harbor Township, NJ), 55-29, in a non-league outing.
The Mariners now own a 12-13 record. They play next when they travel to Cherokee for a non-league outing on Wednesday, February 21. Toms River North will clash with a Chiefs squad coming off a 39-34 non-league win over Cherry Hill West (Cherry Hill, NJ). The Chiefs record now stands at 18-7.
