The Walnut Wildcats softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Baldwyn Bearcats to 0 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Walnut moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Hickory Flat (Hickory Flat, MS) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 20. The Rebels come into the game with a record of 0-0.

The Bearcats (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Shannon (Shannon, MS). The Red Raiders enter the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
