Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes (Abingdon, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Princeville Princes (Princeville, IL), 45-30 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Abingdon/Avon upgrades its record to 17-12 on the year.

The Princes now sport a 21-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Biggsville West Central for a Lincoln Trail match on Monday, February 24. Princeville will face a Heat squad coming off a 48-36 non-league loss to Stark County (Toulon, IL). The Heat record now stands at 6-22.
