The Fridley Tigers basketball team scored 78 points and limited the visiting Brooklyn Center Centaurs to 37 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Tigers now have a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Academy of Holy Angels for a non-league game on Friday, February 21. Fridley will confront a Stars team coming off a 84-79 league win over Richfield (Richfield, MN). The Stars record now stands at 13-12.

With the loss, Brooklyn Center falls to 4-22 on the campaign. The Centaurs host DeLaSalle (Minneapolis, MN) to confront the Islanders in a non-league game on Thursday, February 20. The Islanders go into the game with a record of 19-4. DeLaSalle won 72-49 in their recent non-league game against Kennedy (Bloomington, MN)
