In Wednesday's league test, the Navajo Prep Eagles (Farmington, NM) basketball squad trounced the host Crownpoint Eagles (Crownpoint, NM), by a score of 68-32.
Next, the Eagles encounter the Newcomb Skyhawks (Newcomb, NM) in a 3A District 1 test, on Friday, February 21. Navajo Prep will attempt to improve on its 19-6 season record. The Skyhawks come into the test with a 6-19 record after their 49-41 league loss to Zuni (Zuni, NM).
The Eagles (8-16) will now prepare for their test against Thoreau (Thoreau, NM). The Hawks come into the 3A District 1 test with a 12-12 record. In their last test, Thoreau bounced Wingate (Fort Wingate, NM), 66-55, in a league test.
