High School Basketball - Expression Prep Academy holds off Varsity Opponent

The Expression Prep Academy Lions basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Varsity Opponent to 62 in the Lions non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lions now have a 9-15 record. They play next when they travel to Mountain Mission for a non-league game on Monday, February 24. Expression Prep Academy will confront a Challengers team coming off a 74-45 non-league loss to Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY). The Challengers record now stands at 11-11.

With the loss, Varsity Opponent falls to 469-1605 on the campaign. The travel to Jackson Preparatory & Early College (Jackson, MI) to confront the Falcons in a non-league game on Thursday, February 20. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 7-8. Jackson Preparatory & Early College lost 43-40 in their recent non-league game against Marshall Academy (Marshall, MI)
