Louisiana High School Basketball - West St. John can't hold off Jefferson RISE Charter

Jefferson RISE Charter (Harvey, LA) fans went home pleased Wednesday as they observed their basketball team edge the host West St. John Rams (Edgard, LA), 60-55 in a non-league challenge.
The (13-20) will now prepare for their challenge against Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, LA). The come into the 3A District 9 challenge with a 18-8 record. In their last challenge, Thomas Jefferson edged Fisher (Lafitte, LA), 69-25, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Rams battle the Central Private Redhawks (Baker, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 20. West St. John will attempt to improve on its 4-17 season record.
