Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL), 39-33 in a league match.
With the victory, Lake Forest upgrades its record to 20-9 on the year.
The Bears now sport a 13-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Palatine for a non-league match on Wednesday, February 26. Lake Zurich will face a Pirates squad coming off a 56-29 non-league win over Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 18-13.
