North Community Polars (Minneapolis, MN) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Washburn Millers (Minneapolis, MN), 71-69 in a non-league match.
With the victory, North Community upgrades its record to 16-7 on the year. The Polars travel to Roosevelt (Minneapolis, MN) to face the Teddies in a match on Wednesday, February 26. The Teddies enter the match with a record of 14-9.
The Millers now sport a 12-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Minneapolis Southwest for a AAAA Section 6 match on Monday, February 24. Washburn will face a Lakers squad coming off a 79-38 non-league win over Edison (Minneapolis, MN). The Lakers record now stands at 10-12.
