In Wednesday's league test, the Vestaburg Wolverines (Vestaburg, MI) basketball squad defeated the host St. Charles Bulldogs (St. Charles, MI), by a final score of 51-41.
Next, the Wolverines clash with the Montabella Mustangs (Blanchard, MI) in a Mid-State test, on Thursday, February 20. Vestaburg will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 13-8 record after their 65-23 league win over Merrill (Merrill, MI).
The Bulldogs (8-12) will now prepare for their test against Coleman (Coleman, MI). The Comets come into the Mid-State test with a 12-9 record. In their last test, Coleman went down by Fulton (Middleton, MI), 56-46, in a league test.
