The Pinole Valley Spartans volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Vallejo Redhawks to 0 in the Spartans league triumph on Wednesday.

The Spartans now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Alhambra for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 20. Pinole Valley will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Freedom (Oakley, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Vallejo drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Redhawks travel to Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA) to play the Pride in a Tri-County outing on Friday, February 21. The Pride come into the outing with a record of 0-0.
