In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Brattleboro Bears basketball team scored a close 5-2 win over the Burr & Burton Bulldogs.
The Bears (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Rutland (Rutland, VT). The Raiders come into the Marble Valley - A contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Rutland edged Middlebury (Middlebury, VT), 29-27, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Mount Anthony Patriots (Bennington, VT) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 24. Burr & Burton will attempt to better on its 7-13 season record. The Patriots come into the contest with a 2-17 record after their 45-44 non-league win over Twinfield (Plainfield, VT).
