In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Middletown Knights basketball team scored a big 66-42 triumph over the Clear Spring Blazers.
The Knights (13-8) will now prepare for their contest against Frederick (Frederick, MD). The Cadets go into the Central Maryland contest with a 16-6 record. In their last contest, Frederick was trounced by Urbana (Ijamsville, MD), 51-48, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Blazers battle the Walkersville Lions (Walkersville, MD) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, February 19. Clear Spring will attempt to better on its 8-12 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 10-10 record after their 60-52 league win over Urbana (Ijamsville, MD).
