West Virginia High School Basketball - Southern holds off Preston

The Southern Rams basketball team scored 42 points and limited the host Preston Knights to 41 in the Rams non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Rams now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Grafton for a non-league game on Thursday, February 20.
With the loss, Preston falls to 8-4 on the campaign. The Knights host Lewis County (Weston, WV) to confront the Minutemen in a game on Monday, February 24. The Minutemen go into the game with a record of 0-2.
