In Wednesday's league contest, the host Harwood Highlanders ice hockey team scored a close 9-3 victory over the Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds.

The Highlanders (16-2) will now prepare for their contest against St. Johnsbury Academy (St. Johnsbury, VT). The Hilltoppers go into the contest with a 2-15 record. In their last contest, St. Johnsbury Academy was routed by Mt. Mansfield (Jericho, VT), 2-1, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Thunderbirds play the Burlington Seahorses (Burlington, VT) in a contest, on Saturday, February 22. Missisquoi Valley will attempt to better on its 8-10 season record. The Seahorses go into the contest with a 8-10 record after their 6-4 league loss to Milton (Milton, VT).
