The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the La Salle Academy Rams (Providence, RI) and the visiting Smithfield Sentinels (Esmond, RI), witnessed La Salle Academy's ice hockey team defeat Smithfield by a final score of 4-2.

The Rams (10-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Moses Brown (Providence, RI). The Quakers come into the Division 1 challenge with a 13-9 record. In their last challenge, Moses Brown got by Burrillville (Harrisville, RI), 5-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Sentinels battle the Moses Brown Quakers (Providence, RI) in a Division 1 challenge, on Saturday, February 22. Smithfield will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Quakers come into the challenge with a 13-9 record after their 5-0 league win over Burrillville (Harrisville, RI).
