New Hampshire High School Basketball - White Mountains nudges Berlin

In Wednesday's league outing, the White Mountains Spartans (Whitefield, NH) basketball squad edged the host Berlin Mountaineers (Berlin, NH), by a margin of 40-35.
The Spartans (9-3) will now prepare for their outing against Newport (Newport, NH). The Tigers go into the Division III outing with a 1-9 record. In their last outing, Newport was tipped by Inter-Lakes (Meredith, NH), 66-53, in a league outing.
The Mountaineers now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they travel to Winnisquam for a Division III outing on Friday, February 4. Berlin will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 63-29 league loss to Gilford (Gilford, NH). The Bears record now stands at 6-6.
