The Capital Golden Eagles basketball team (Boise, ID), was toppled 59-40 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Mountain View Mavericks (Meridian, ID)
The Mavericks now possess a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kuna for a 5A Southern Idaho battle on Friday, February 4. Mountain View will confront a Kavemen team coming off a 55-51 league loss to Borah (Boise, ID). The Kavemen record now stands at 6-12.
The Golden Eagles (2-14) will now prepare for their battle against Owyhee (Meridian, ID). The Storm come into the 5A Southern Idaho battle with a 15-3 record. In their last battle, Owyhee beat Centennial (Boise, ID), 71-44, in a league battle.
