The Chavez Eagles basketball team (San Fernando, CA), was overwhelmed 77-33 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA)
The Lancers now possess a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arleta for a East Valley battle on Friday, February 4. Grant will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 38-25 league loss to North Hollywood (North Hollywood, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-16.
The Eagles (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against Community Charter (Lakeview Terrace, CA). The Titans come into the non-league battle with a 7-5 record.
