The McDonough Rams basketball team (Pomfret, MD), was overwhelmed 71-30 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD)
The Cougars now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Point for a Southern Maryland battle on Friday, February 4. Stone will battle a Eagles team coming off a 61-22 league win over Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 8-1.
The Rams (4-9) will now prepare for their battle against Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The Braves come into the non-league battle with a 5-11 record. In their last battle, Chopticon was overwhelmed by Lackey (Indian Head, MD), 54-53, in a league battle.
