North Carolina High School Basketball - Southwest Guilford succumbs to Page

The Page Pirates topped the host Southwest Guilford Cowboys basketball team by a final score of 85-76 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Pirates face the Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) in a 4A Conference 55 game, on Friday, February 4. Page will attempt to move on its 8-9 season record. The Nighthawks enter the game with a 12-6 record after their 72-53 league loss to Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC).

With the defeat, Southwest Guilford moves to 8-9 on the year. The Cowboys travel to Grimsley (Greensboro, NC) to face the Whirlies in a 4A Conference 55 game on Friday, February 4. The Whirlies enter the game with a record of 17-2. Grimsley won 64-58 in their recent league game against Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC)
