North Carolina High School Basketball - Sugar Creek tipped by Queen's Grant

In Wednesday's league match, the host Queen's Grant Stallions basketball team scored a tight 73-66 triumph over the Sugar Creek Wildcats.

In their next game, the Stallions meet the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC) in a 1A Conference 38 match, on Friday, February 4. Queen's Grant will attempt to move on its 14-5 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 4-12 record after their 77-54 league loss to Cabarrus Charter (Concord, NC).

With the defeat, Sugar Creek moves to 3-8 on the year. The Wildcats host Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC) to meet the Bears in a 1A Conference 38 match on Thursday, February 3.
