The Hillhouse Academics basketball team scored 49 points and held the host East Haven Yellowjackets to 42 in the Academics non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Academics now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shelton for a non-league contest on Friday, February 4. Hillhouse will meet a Gaels team coming off a 74-47 league loss to West Haven (West Haven, CT). The Gaels record now stands at 2-13.
The Yellowjackets (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against North Haven (North Haven, CT). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, North Haven was nudged by Guilford (Guilford, CT), 43-30, in a non-league contest.
