Michigan High School Basketball - Algonac topped by North Branch

The North Branch Broncos basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Algonac Muskrats to 40 in the Broncos league victory on Thursday.
The Broncos now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Almont for a Blue Water Area contest on Tuesday, February 7. North Branch will battle a Raiders team coming off a 59-51 league loss to Armada (Armada, MI). The Raiders record now stands at 5-10.
The Muskrats (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Croswell-Lexington (Croswell, MI). The Pioneers come into the Blue Water Area contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Croswell-Lexington prevailed over Yale (Yale, MI), 35-27, in a league contest.
