The Alta-Aurelia Warriors basketball team (Alta, IA), was overwhelmed 80-49 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host West Bend-Mallard Wolverines (West Bend, IA)

The Wolverines now possess a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pocahontas for a non-league battle on Friday, February 3.

The Warriors (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Newell-Fonda (Newell, IA). The Mustangs come into the Twin Lakes battle with a 13-3 record. In their last battle, Newell-Fonda trounced Cherokee Washington (Cherokee, IA), 88-50, in a non-league battle.
