The Trenton Trojans (Trenton, MI) basketball nipped the visiting Anderson Titans (Southgate, MI), 57-55 in Thursday's league test.

The Trojans (4-8) will now prepare for their test against Edsel Ford (Dearborn, MI). The Thunderbirds go into the Downriver test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Edsel Ford was tipped by Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI), 51-35, in a league test.

The Titans now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they host Annapolis for a non-league test on Monday, February 6. Anderson will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 87-79 league loss to Crestwood (Dearborn Heights, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 6-8.
