The Boxers now possess a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salesian for a non-league battle on Friday, February 3. Animo De La Hoya will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 64-52 league win over La Salle (Pasadena, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-14.
The Lions (17-10) will now prepare for their battle against Collins Family (Huntington Park, CA). The Jaguars come into the non-league battle with a 10-9 record. In their last battle, Collins Family dropped by East College Prep (Los Angeles, CA), 45-40, in a league battle.
