The Austin Packers basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Red Wing Wingers to 43 in the Packers league triumph on Thursday.
The Packers now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Owatonna for a AAAA Section 1 contest on Saturday, February 4. Austin will battle a Huskies team coming off a 69-56 league win over Century (Rochester, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 13-4.
The Wingers (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Northfield (Northfield, MN). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Northfield ran past Mankato East (Mankato, MN), 85-84, in a non-league contest.
