In Thursday's league outing, the Wall Hawks (Wall, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Ballinger Bearcats (Ballinger, TX), by a margin of 63-37.

The Hawks (15-8) will now prepare for their outing against Coahoma (Coahoma, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Region I District 6 outing with a 14-11 record. In their last outing, Coahoma was trounced by Jim Ned (Tuscola, TX), 54-42, in a league outing.

The Bearcats now own a 10-19 record. They play next when they travel to San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy for a 3A Region I District 6 outing on Friday, February 3. Ballinger will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 103-18 league win over Grape Creek (San Angelo, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 22-5.
