Washington Latin Public Charter School Lions (Washington, DC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host BASIS Red Giants (Washington, DC), 66-60 in a league bout.

With the win, Washington Latin Public Charter School upgrades its record to 9-10 on the season. The Lions travel to Capital City Public Charter School (Washington, DC) to clash with the EAGLES in a PCSAA A bout on Friday, February 3. The EAGLES go into the bout with a record of 5-14. Capital City Public Charter School lost 68-38 in their recent league bout against SEED DC (Washington, DC)

Next up, the Red Giants clash with the Washington Leadership Academy (Washington, DC) in a PCSAA A bout, on Friday, February 3. BASIS will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The go into the bout with a 2-14 record after their 66-53 league loss to Washington Latin Public Charter School (Washington, DC).
