Texas High School Basketball - Snyder thwarts Big Spring

The Snyder Tigers (Snyder, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX), 47-34 in Thursday's league test.
The Tigers (10-16) will now prepare for their test against Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX). The Mustangs go into the 4A Region I District 5 test with a 19-10 record. In their last test, Sweetwater notched a victory over Levelland (Levelland, TX), 61-60, in a league test.
The Steers now own a 6-17 record. They play next when they host Lake View for a 4A Region I District 5 test on Friday, February 3. Big Spring will encounter a Chiefs squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Estacado (Lubbock, TX). The Chiefs record now stands at 6-21.
