Bishop Ryan Lions (Minot, ND) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood Mavericks (Renville, ND), 77-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bishop Ryan upgrades its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Trinity (Dickinson, ND) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 10-4. Trinity lost 57-46 in their recent league bout against Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Rhame] (Bowman, ND)

Next up, the Mavericks play the Stanley Blue Jays (Stanley, ND) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 6. Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Blue Jays come into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 71-41 league win over Ray (Ray, ND).
