Blackstone Valley Prep PRIDE (Cumberland, RI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host St. Patrick Academy Padres (Providence, RI), 100-66 in a league bout.

With the victory, Blackstone Valley Prep upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The PRIDE host West Warwick (West Warwick, RI) to play the Wizards in a Division 3 bout on Monday, February 6. The Wizards come into the bout with a record of 13-4. West Warwick won 63-50 in their recent league bout against Paul Cuffee (Providence, RI)

Next up, the Padres play the North Smithfield Northmen (North Smithfield, RI) in a Division 3 bout, on Monday, February 6. St. Patrick Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Northmen come into the bout with a 17-2 record after their 66-62 league win over Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI).
