The Bledsoe County Warriors basketball team (Pikeville, TN), was nudged 69-62 in Thursday's league battle with the host Monterey Wildcats (Monterey, TN)
The Wildcats now possess a 17-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sequatchie County for a 2A District 5 battle on Friday, February 3. Monterey will confront a Indians team coming off a 60-39 non-league loss to CSTHEA Patriots (Chattanooga, TN). The Indians record now stands at 4-19.
The Warriors (7-12) will now prepare for their battle against Van Buren County (Spencer, TN). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 13-9 record.
