With the victory, Blum upgrades its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Covington (Covington, TX) to play the Owls in a 1A Region III District 20 bout on Friday, February 3. The Owls come into the bout with a record of 18-7. Covington lost 52-34 in their recent league bout against Meridian (Meridian, TX)

Next up, the Hornets play the Morgan Eagles (Morgan, TX) in a 1A Region III District 20 bout, on Friday, February 3. Walnut Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 69-42 league loss to Blum (Blum, TX).
